Questions about our training BYTES

What is a training BYTE?

We have called each of our individual training sessions a training BYTE. This is because we have deliberately tried to break our training up into manageable bite-sized training topics, which will teach you about one focused areas at a time. So you choose exactly what you want to learn today.

How long will it take me to complete a training BYTE?

Each BYTE is slightly different and each person will approach an individual BYTE at a different pace, depending on their existing knowledge and experience, however as a general rule we would suggest you allow at least an hour to complete any of our training BYTES. BYTES with a greater number of TRAINING TASKS to complete may take longer than this to fully complete each TASK.

How is each training BYTE structured?

At the beginning of each byte you will have a full list of contents and a description of what you should expect to learn from the BYTE. You should aim to work through the BYTE in chronological order, from beginning to end to gain maximum understanding. Most BYTES will have TRAINING TASKS throughout the text which you will need to complete. At the end of each BYTE there is:-

  • A summary of what you should have learnt in the BYTE – if any of this is not clear you can revisit the BYTE for greater clarity
  • A summary of the TRAINING TASKS you should have completed
  • A list of further training BYTES which are recommended as following training from the BYTE you have now completed.

What is a training TASK

Training TASKS are exercises where you will be asked to complete an activity, normally associated with you business, to enhance your understanding of the BYTEs content and to help you relate it to YOUR business.

How do I pay for a training BYTE

Currently all payments on our website are processed by PayPal. However if you do not have a PayPal account or do not wish to pay for it in this way, this is not a problem. When you come to the PayPal screen it will ask you to log in to your PayPal account, but it will also give you an alternative option of checking out using your debit or credit card.

How will I receive my training BYTE

When you have purchased your BYTE and are still on the PayPal page, there will be a link back to the Sharp Marketing website. Follow this page and it will take you to a page where you can download the training BYTE that you have just purchased.  You should click on the link to download your purchased training BYTE onto your computer. The BYTE will download as a pdf document and you can then print the BYTE or work on it whilst it is displayed on your computer screen. Can I share my training BYTE with other people?

When you receive you BYTE you can save the BYTE on your computer for your future use and reference, but you mustn’t share the BYTE with other people outside of your business. Your purchase of the training BYTE is only for your personal and business use.
